Miller Belmont

Miller Belmont retired from the US Army Reserves and Army civil service. He is a combat veteran of the Iraq war. He presently works as a design analyst at US Space Command in Colorado Springs. As a reservist he commanded several military intelligence battalions and groups. In his last reserve job he served as the space team leader for the 75th Innovation Command, where he saved the US Army $500 million dollars by identifying redundant technologies. His military awards include the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit. Miller has worked in space and military intelligence for 34 years. Miller did his undergraduate work at Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington. He received a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the US Army War College. His oldest son works for Lutheran Family Services, resettling refugees from America’s wars. His youngest son is in college at the University of Colorado and skis for the Colorado National Guard Biathlon Team.
