Sylvie Plante

Sylvie Plante applies design thinking to co-create solutions that transform organizational processes and structures with clients across sectors. Certified in design thinking and professional facilitation, she leads workshops to support leaders and practitioners on a path of strategic and digital transformation, in both English and French, in person and online.

· With AOD, Sylvie is supporting a design-based approach to integrated planning for a national security organization.

· With Public Safety Canada, Sylvie applied design thinking to develop innovation capabilities, and accelerate organizational transformation across multiple branches.

· With Spring2Innovation, Sylvie facilitated virtual design thinking learning workshops for Employment and Social Development Canada, Global Affairs, Health Canada, National Research Council, and Public Safety.

· With Royal Roads University, Sylvie applied design thinking with client organizations as a component of work-integrated learning for students in the Bachelor of Commerce “Human Side of Business Course”

· As Institute of Social Innovation (ISI) Fellow with Fielding Graduate University, Dr. Plante is researching the role of boundary spanners in the design of collaboration networks for social innovation.
