Two hour autonomous educational module for military design fundamentals. Intended for leaders and senior military professionals that need to gain an appreciation of what military design is, how it relates to traditional planning methods, and how an organization can employ both design and planning in complex security challenges.
This module is based on the JSOU executive design lecture provided to senior military leaders, policy makers, other agency senior officials, as well as academic institutions and international special operations and other military partners. JSOU provides SOF-related education to USSOCOM, SOF partners, the Department of Defense and other institutions and agencies that require greater SOF education and development in conjunction with overarching USSOCOM enterprise missions.
This module was designed to be public facing and widely accessible on multiple digital platforms and operate outside of the internal JSOU education system that requires student registration and enrollment for access. This module is placed in an open-source position for ease of access, ability to rapidly scale, and provide flexible and sustained education across the SOCOM enterprise, DoD, agency, partners and industry for specific and in this case, limited SOF-peculiar education on military design executive concepts. Organizations that qualify for further JSOU direct educational support should contact the JSOU registrars or access the student registration portal for more information and options.
