Habiba Elgendy

Habiba Elgendy is a communication designer and creative strategist based in Canada. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from The American University in Cairo and is currently an MDes in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University in Toronto. Her work is shaped by multidisciplinary design thinking and extensive research processes. She is inspired by social impact through design and work that highlights and preserves culture and diversity.

Habiba began her career in advertising, creating multiple award winning campaigns. Next, she collaborated with diverse small businesses, assisting them in establishing and promoting their brands. She later joined a non-profit students’ association, where she worked to advocate for students through graphic design.

Today, Habiba proudly focuses on designing creative visual communication solutions at The Archipelago of Design. Overall, Habiba’s work is driven by positive impact through design and a commitment to celebrate and preserve culture and diversity.
