For the academic year 2019-2020, JSOU proudly presents a continuing series of defense design experts providing lectures on a variety of multidisciplinary design topics for the SOCOM enterprise, DoD, and international Special Operations and partnered forces.
LTC Grant Martin is a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer serving currently as the chief of Special Forces Personnel Proponency at the US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School. He has served in several key positions from Special Forces team commander to most recently the G-5 Chief of Plans for the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea. LTC Martin has published numerous articles and chapters in books on design topics, SOF and design, and has an MBA from George Mason University, an MMAS from the School of Advanced Military Studies. Grant is currently a PhD candidate in Public Administration at NC State University.
